We should get to know one another

About Creative Instruments

It is nothing short of a gift when science, engineering technology, and toolmaking get along with each other. Not only for clients, but also for all concerned.

Dr. Martin Gutekunst and Herbert Mendla also saw things this way when they founded Creative Instruments as a solutions network in December 2009. In the years prior to this, their respective engineering bureau and manufacturing company had cooperated in conducting various projects in the field of medical diagnostics and microbiological research on a firm and trusting basis. These projects involved measurement and special configurations with high-quality precision engineering as well as complex detection and evaluation systems.

In this regard the two owners had learned to know each other as reliable partners, who shared the same values and standards of quality. Above all, however, they each appreciated the resourcefulness and creativity of the other, whenever it was a matter of finding new solutions and of implementing them in close cooperation with their clients and each other.

Network of Experts

Concurring values and the desire to combine forces resulted in a joint company. Today Creative Instruments is a network of natural scientists, engineers, and technicians from different special disciplines. Over the course of several years, they have formed an experienced and well-coordinated team that is objective-oriented and can always regroup, depending on the task at hand. Thanks to this flexibility, Creative Instruments is not only mindful of lean budgets, but also remains fresh and agile in its thinking.

With the company Solectrix GmbH Creative Instruments has a reliable and innovative development partner at its side. Solectrix develops custom solutions for highly integrated electronic and microprocessor assemblies. Generic implementations in software and FPGA tailored to the characteristics of the electronics round off the range of services. Complex user interfaces, image processing and the high-performance transmission of large amounts of data are core competencies of the company.
Embedded engineering offers a multitude of complex requirements that can not always be met on the basis of existing standards, but rather require exclusive, customer-specific solutions of the highest quality. This is precisely where Solectrix defines itself: Innovative thinking in embedded engineering at the highest level.

Theoretical development and practical implementation; that’s where our strengths lie.

There is more than one bright mind behind all of this.

We think networking and live networking. In this way, we combine wide-ranging competencies from science, engineering arts, and toolmaking all under one roof. Our interdisciplinary team stands for creative concepts and solid implementation. Both show themselves in the performance and durability of our products.
In short: With us, the results are greater than the sum of their parts.

Our Motivation

Creative Instruments was founded with the goal of inventing, designing, and manufacturing high-quality products, which are not yet on the market. The trickier the questions, the more they fuel our enthusiasm.

Our passion is aroused by interdisciplinary development assignments that result in products, whose production we can take over in smaller to medium-scale quantities. We are only satisfied when our work fulfills all of the expectations and interests of our clients and partners. A key priority for us is for our solutions to make a real difference in the working process.

Experience has shown that the basis of valuable developments lies in understanding the overall problem. Due the varying ways of thinking and the languages of the various areas of expertise, this is often difficult to pinpoint. Only after comprehensive insight into all of the fields of specialization is it possible to succeed in optimizing the overall system. The reason is that only then is it possible to correlate specifications and processes with higher efficiency, greater robustness and more reasonable cost. Creative Instruments offers exactly this overall perspective, and this is thus rare, if not even unique, one of a kind.

What is important for us

Our work means that we work closely together with our clients and partners for months or sometimes even years. In so doing, an open and trusting working relationship is important for us. We are certain that only on this basis is partner-like, flexible, and thus highly efficient cooperation possible.

Through profitability as well as with sustainable services and developments, we intend to create interesting and secure jobs. Just as with our clients, we also feel obligated to develop fair and long-term dealings with our colleagues.

Quality

We are certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001.

Nothing is so good that we could not make it just a little bit better. That is our impetus, and it thus forms the basis for the continual process of improvement in our intra-company quality–management system.

Your guidelines are our guidelines

With everything that we invent, develop, and implement for you, we orient ourselves completely on your terms of reference. That means that your quality standards and guidelines are our yardstick.

When manufacturing components, a 3-D measuring device is available for quality control. We also conduct FMEA analyses.

Protection of the environment and human health is an important concern of ours from development to production. Conservation of natural resources is the focus of our attention as well as maximum safety in handling equipment and machines.

Our long-term goals

Your needs and the demands of the global market constitute our focus, which is concentrated on a continually progressive development of our products and services. We are constantly working to increase our competitiveness by means of continued improvement in quality, the environment, and protection of health as well as job safety.

Through our comprehensive service, we give you as our clients the certainty that you have chosen the right partner and the best products. When you need us, we are always there for you.
